Private giving is essential in helping to provide student scholarships, to support and attract qualified faculty, and to fund a wide range of important programs and initiatives.

Although the commonwealth does provide funding to Virginia Tech, that funding represents only a small portion of the university’s yearly budget. Private gifts help ensure that Virginia Tech students receive a quality education and help keep the university competitive with other top institutions. Your support is needed now more than ever.

Give to MII

How to Give

You can securely make a pledge via the online giving form. To direct your gift to MII:

  1. Under the "Select an Area" drop-down menu, select Research Institutes.
  2. Under the "Select a Fund" drop-down menu, select Other.
  3. Type in “Macromolecules Innovation Institute”.

If you are affiliated with a company that matches contributions to higher education, your gift to Virginia Tech may be matched or doubled. Contact your human resource department for more information about your company’s matching gift policies and procedures.
