Events and Industry

MII hosts regular technical seminars, an annual Adhesion Science short course and the MII Technical Conference & Review. Additionally, MII faculty are involved in numerous non-MII hosted events on macromolecular and interfacial science and engineering and offer their expertise to companies in need of technological advice. 

Student success is vital to the success of MII. Annual Graduate and Undergraduate Fellowships are offered through MII to students who have shown particular excellence in their research.

Companies that collaborate with MII generally establish closer ties to MII and continue to collaborate on research endeavors. A variety of avenues exist to facilitate collaboration with MII, including sponsored research, faculty consulting, participation in educational and training opportunities, access to resources (reports, etc.), and industry sabbatical.
