MII Director Tim Long and graduate student Emily Wilts were recently featured in a WSLS 10 segment about their research on improving cervical cancer treatment. 

The research stems from a partnership between Virginia Tech's Macromolecules Innovation Institute and the University of Virginia Cancer Center. Long and Wilts have developed a new gel that could increase comfort of women during cancer treatment.
